A solar power system is planned for installation on 50% of the roof surface and will generate over 57 Kilowatts of solar power. Expansion of the array to 100% of the roof surface may take place during subsequent phases increasing overall system capacity. Plans include tying the solar power system into the grid to provide power back into the grid during low energy use days. The array will consist of over 250 solar panels operating at 216 watts per panel. 2K Solar Systems will oversee the installation and maintenance of the solar array.
