Hawley Silk Mill Architect Receives Gold Medal

Architect Peter Bohlin has been awarded his profession's highest honor, the American Institute of Architects Gold Medal.  The award is given to individual architects whose work has a lasting influence on the theory and practice of architecture.  Mr. Bohlin joins previous gold medal recipients such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Thomas Jefferson, and Frank Gehry. 

Mr. Bohlin is the founder of Bohlin Cynwinski Jackson, a 200 member practice, with offices in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania and is the architect of record for the Hawley Silk Mill project.
