The small building on the property known as the "Cocoon" building, which was once used to store cocoons prior to being woven into Silk Fabric, is being developed into a community coffee house offering a warm cozy atmosphere and wi-fi. Plans include offering specially ground coffees and light take out fare. Expected occupancy and opening date is October 1, 2009.

EcoLEDGE, a Eco-Learning, Eco-Economic Development & Sustainable Growth Enterprise, is planning to create a technology incubator within the main building as well as lease professional office space. EcoLEDGE will focus on Entrepreneurial, Intrapreneurial and Business Development training to create micro economies using environmentally friendly practices and business opportunities. Expected occuppancy, Spring of 2010.

Local Attorney Tony Waldron will be leasing professional office space in the Silk Mill Building. Mr. Waldron is one of the top land use attorney's in the region and represents several local municipal entities. In addition to his regular clients, he is very active in the Black Bear Music Conservatory and the Delaware Highlands Conservancy.
