Lisa Alexander is a LEED AP specializing in New Construction, Existing Building Renovations and Operation & Management. Ms. Alexander is a Licensed Realtor who has won several excellence in real estate awards and became the first Certified EcoBroker® in her area. She is also a Nationally Recognized Green Living Expert and a Certified Green Building and Environmental Consultant

Ms. Alexander is a CSR specialist and was the original Founder/CEO of Green Life, Inc., a Green Consulting Firm committed to educating the public and corporations on how to build healthier, more sustainable lives and buildings for ourselves and future generations. Through Green Life, Lisa designed and implemented strategies to achieve the company’s vision through research, written articles, educational lectures, presentations, DVD’s, and other consulting and educational training programs for both home owners and business owners.

Cindy Davis

Cindy Davis

Cindy has 25 years of retail experience working for both manufacturers and retailers including Corning, Maidenform and Macy’s.  She worked most recently for Maidenform for 15 years as the Senior Vice President of Retail, International Retail, Licensing and Internet.  She specialized in starting up new businesses and maximizing growth of existing business.  Cindy served on outlet industry boards and was a speaker at outlet and licensing conventions. 

After retiring from Maidenform in 2007, she started up a new company with her husband at Lake Wallenpaupack.  Davis Lakefront Properties invests in waterfront properties on Lake Wallenpaupack for the purpose of renting and renovating them.  Cindy and her husband Tom live on Lake Wallenpaupack and have an interest in increasing tourism in the area and in improving the retail and business opportunities in the area.  Cindy and Tom spend part of the year in Florida and part in Pennsylvania at the lake.

   

Howard Grossman

Howard J. Grossman graduated from Rutgers University in 1956, with a BA in Economics (City Planning).  In 1957, he graduated from New York University with an MPA (Public Administration).  He then went into the U.S. Army and became a Captain.  Following this, he served as Deputy Director of the Montgomery County, PA Planning Commission, until June 1971.  He then took a position as Executive Director of the Economic Development Council of NEPA, serving in that capacity until October 31, 2000.  That agency is now called the NEPA Alliance.

Following his retirement from EDCNP, Howard opened his own consulting business in 2001 as HJG Associates. He has undertaken many consultant engagements within the region and several outside the Pocono-Northeast. In some cases, he has associated with other firms such as Michael Sand Associates and Delta Development. HJG Associates includes the following activities:

Joann M. Hudak, Ed.D

Dr. Hudak is the Director of Secondary Education for the Wallenpaupack Area School District. With over 25 years of experience in education, Dr. Hudak has served as a high school and a middle school principal at Wallenpaupack Area and taught Spanish for 12 years in the Pocono Mountain School District. She is also an adjunct professor at Wilkes and East Stroudsburg Universities.

As Director of Secondary Education, Dr. Hudak is responsible for all aspects of curriculum and instruction for grades 7-12 and has district level responsibilities including professional development plans, pupil services, and grant writing. She currently serves on various school and community committees and is an Educational Consultant for Middle and High School Scheduling.

Dr. Hudak is also the co-chairperson of the education committee of Workforce Wayne. She is currently working on a major committee initiative, the construction of  a 21st Century Career and Technical Center in the Pike and Wayne County Region. The work to date has received broad support from local leaders, business and industry, educators, and community members. Dr. Hudak is also a member of the Wall Street West Human Capital Committee, the Pocono Counties Workforce Investment Area Youth Council, Wayne Memorial Hospital Community Advisory Board, and the NEPA STEM Governing Board.

Dr. Hudak completed her Doctorate in Educational Administration at Widener University, received a Masters in Educational Administration from East Stroudsburg University, a Masters of Arts in Spanish from Montclair State University, a Bachelor of Science in Spanish and Secondary Education from East Stroudsburg University and Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Union College.

 

   

Robert T. Weed

Bob holds a B.A. from Dickinson College and an M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

He served 3 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was a Captain upon discharge. Bob worked for Reckitt & Colman, Ltd., a U.K. based international company, specializing in the manufacturing and marketing of food and household cleaning products. Over his 39 years there, he worked in Operations, then Marketing, and ultimately General Management, where he served as Department Manager and CEO of several of their subsidiary companies.

Recently, Bob has been a general business consultant, now serving in such capacity with Cornerstone Companies. He also has held several interim positions including CEO and President of WLVT- PBS Channel 39, Executive Director of New Bethany Ministries, General Manager of Cornerstone Companies, CEO and President of LVEDC. Additionally, he served on numerous boards of both for-profit and non-profit organizations. He is enjoying semi-retirement with a focus on an accelerated "glide path" to full retirement.
